During the beta, the installer is not code-signed yet. That is why Windows SmartScreen warns on first run — the same warning any new program without a certificate gets.

Want to check the file is the original?
Compare the hash of the downloaded file with the SHA-512 published above. In PowerShell, in your Downloads folder:
$f = "$PWD\Zync-Setup-0.9.3.exe"
[Convert]::ToBase64String([Security.Cryptography.SHA512]::Create().ComputeHash([IO.File]::OpenRead($f)))
The result must match the SHA-512 on this page exactly. Only download Zync from usezync.com.
Other systems
macOS, Linux, a web version and mobile are on the roadmap, after the 1.0 launch on Windows.
