Terms
Terms of use
The rules of the game, without unnecessary legalese. Last updated: November 6, 2026.
This is a translation provided for convenience. The Portuguese version is the legally binding one.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Zync, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy. Zync is offered by Elian, the individual responsible for the Zync project. Contact: contato@usezync.com.
2. The service is in beta
Zync is in closed beta: features may change, fail or be removed, and there may be instability. The service is offered free of charge and "as is". Do not use Zync as the only place to keep something important.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 13; between 13 and 18, with the consent of your parents or guardians. Enter your real date of birth: it cannot be changed in the app.
- Sharing or watching screen shares is only allowed from age 18.
- Use truthful information when signing up and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- A person may have more than one account, but not to get around bans or time outs.
4. Your content
What you post stays yours. For Zync to work, you allow us to store, process and display that content to the people who have access to it, solely to provide the service. This permission ends when the content or the account is deleted (subject to backups and legal obligations).
5. Rules of conduct
On Zync it is forbidden to:
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or incite violence against people or groups;
- post sexual content involving minors — we report it to the authorities;
- post explicit sexual or violent content outside spaces marked for it, or without the consent of the people shown;
- disclose other people’s personal data without permission;
- send spam, scams, phishing or malware;
- infringe copyright or other third-party rights;
- try to break into, overload or bypass Zync’s security, or automate accounts without permission;
- stream any of the forbidden content above, or get around the age restrictions on streams;
- any activity that is illegal under Brazilian law.
6. Servers and moderation
Whoever creates a server sets its rules and moderators, within these terms. Moderation tools (kick, ban, time out, filter) belong to each server’s owners and moderators. Anyone can report messages and profiles in the app.
We may remove content and limit or suspend accounts and servers that violate these terms or the law, whenever possible with notice and an explanation. If you disagree with a measure, write to contato@usezync.com.
7. Vulnerabilities
Good-faith security testing follows the rules on the Security page.
8. Liability
Each person is responsible for the content they post. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for third-party content, nor for losses caused by unavailability during the beta. Nothing here removes rights you have under Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code.
9. Termination
You can stop using Zync whenever you want and request account deletion at contato@usezync.com. We may end the beta or the service, with reasonable notice so you can request a copy of your data.
10. Changes and governing law
These terms may change; important changes will be announced in the app. Brazilian law applies, and the courts of the user’s place of residence have jurisdiction.
