How to search
Use the Search box at the top of the channel or DM. In a server, search covers the whole server; in a DM, only that conversation. Results appear in a side panel — click one to jump to the message.
Search ignores accents and matches word prefixes and variations. To exclude a word, use -word. Word matching is tuned for Portuguese, the language most Zync communities use today.

Combine them freely: from:@lia has:file rules. Dates always use the YYYY-MM-DD format. The Portuguese filters (de:, em:, tem:, antes:, depois:) and the Spanish ones (en:, tiene:, después:…) work too, in any app language.
What shows up
Only what you are allowed to see: channels hidden from you, servers you are not in, deleted messages and other people’s DMs never appear.
Current limitation
Jumping to a very old message only works if it is already loaded in the history. If the app asks, scroll the channel up and click again.
