1. Install the app
Download the installer from the download page and open the file. Zync installs in one click, just for your Windows user, without asking for administrator rights. If Windows shows a blue warning, see how to continue safely.
2. Create your account
On the first screen, choose Create account and enter:
- Email — used to sign in and for us to contact you about your account;
- Username — 2 to 32 characters: lowercase letters, numbers,
_or.. This is how people add you; - Password — at least 10 characters;
- Date of birth — you must be at least 13. It can only be set once, never appears on your profile and unlocks screen shares from age 18.
After that you can sign in with your email or your username.
3. Join a server (or create your own)
In the server bar on the left, click +. Choose Create to start a new community, or Join with invite and paste the link or code someone sent you.
4. Add friends
On the home screen (the Zync icon at the top of the server bar), open Friends and add people by username. Once they accept, you can talk in direct messages.
Tips
- Ctrl+K opens quick search to jump to any server or channel.
- Ctrl+Shift+L toggles the light and dark theme.
- In Settings → Language you choose Portuguese, English or Spanish, or keep "Same as system". It switches instantly.
- The app downloads updates in the background. When the green Update button appears in the title bar, click it to restart on the new version — or let it install when you close the app.
